Each merchant runs its own agent network on Pateway. Merchants never see each other's data.
01
Merchant
Sends orders by API, approves agents, checks each proof of payment and settles with agents.
02
Agent
A verified local agent of the merchant. Takes orders, receives or pays on the merchant's behalf and uploads the proof.
03
Customer
Pays or gets paid through a local channel and sees which merchant the payment is for.
How it works
Every order ends with a proof and a ledger entry.
Collection
Your customer pays you
1You create a collection order with POST /v1/orders.
2An online agent with the right channel takes it.
3Your customer pays the agent's account and sees your name on the order.
4The agent uploads the transaction ID. You confirm it, and we post it to the ledger and call your webhook.
Payout
You pay someone
1You create a payout order with the recipient's account.
2An agent takes it within their limit.
3The agent sends the money to the recipient.
4You confirm the proof, and the amount is added to what you owe the agent.
For merchants
Run your agent network from one console.
Pateway is software. The money moves between your customers, your agents and you.
Agent approval
Review ID documents, set deposits and limits, suspend anyone at any time.
Matching
Orders go to agents by region, channel and available limit, with a time limit on each step.
Review desk
Check each transaction ID and screenshot, confirm or reject with a reason.
Three ledgers per agent
Amount owed, commission and deposit, kept separately for every currency.
Statements
The same numbers in your console, your API and each agent's app. Export to CSV or XLSX.
Test mode
A test token with simulated outcomes and webhooks, so you can integrate before going live.
Developers
One REST API for orders, channels and balances.
Bearer tokens, idempotent order numbers, signed webhooks and an OpenAPI file you can generate a client from. Amounts are exact decimal strings with a currency code.
